PersonalityTapestry does not automatically collect, store, or utilize personally identifiable information (PII), excepting the linkable device data (including IP addresses) of security-related traffic such as logins for our legitimate security interests, some of which may be anonymously shared with third party security networks. We collect, store, and utilize the information submitted voluntarily in the contact form along with the device data logged for security; any additional information exchanged or revealed by the user over email is up to the user’s discretion. Information via the contact process will not be distributed to third parties unless required by law or to safeguard our website and its provider(s) at our sole discretion. We keep PII for the approximate duration it is needed with practical leeway and protect it to the best of our ability within reason, applying the same or similar standards we apply to our own website.
Children under 13
We do not knowingly or intentionally collect, store, or utilize any PII about children under the age of 13. As stated in our terms, the use of this website by a child or ward is not recommended and is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian. If you learn that your child or ward has disclosed PII, you must contact us so that we can remove it. In the future, please do your duty to enforce, such as by educating, monitoring, and/or restricting, your child or ward so that they do not disclose personally identifiable information online.
Browser and device fingerprinting
Website access requires the exchange of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, so your access or attempts automatically confirm your consent to this. We do not further collect, store, or utilize device information except for the services in the “Personally identifiable information” section above. We do not otherwise fingerprint your software or hardware or track this, and we host fonts locally so that Google Fonts cannot access your data.
Cookies
We do not collect, store, or utilize web or HTTP cookies for legitimate users.
Storage
Your property, including but not limited to your device with its applications such as browsers, may have information stored from our website and your use thereof such as in its cache, history, or downloads. This does not effect your privacy on our end and is solely the user’s responsibility.
Other websites’ practices and policies
This website’s content may include outbound links or embedded content. Using links to other provider’s URLs will direct to their websites. Using embedded content by other providers from within our URLs is as if visiting their websites. These websites may have different practices and policies (including but not limited to privacy) which are the sole responsibility of the user to inform themselves of, and of which use indicates acceptance. Results may include but are not limited to these websites collecting, storing, and utilizing your personally identifiable information, linkable device data, cookies, logged in account histories such as through social sharing, or other means of monitoring or tracking your usage of their content through our website or theirs.
